Like the elegant and ultra-feminine flower, like the symbol of Brussels par excellence: The Iris is the new place to settle in the heart of the buzzing uptown Brussels. It is a profound redevelopment both in terms of the culinary concept and of place that can be discovered on the ground floor of The Hotel. A space combining several functions which certainly invites conviviality and relaxation from morning to evening.

At The Iris you will find a seasonal and reasoned menu advocating only local products. On the menu, a few starters and dishes of international inspiration (Asia, South-America & Europe) which will evolve with the seasons. With a special mention for the Robata technique, a lacquering method from Japan that cooks over a flame and gives a slight smoky taste.

Order a few starters, a few dishes, that you can share with your table: whether it is the snacked half-cooked marinated tuna and its organic quinoa with peppers, the pigeon supreme cooked over charcoal and its thigh pastilla with dried fruits or the butternut mascarpone risotto and burnt Brussels sprouts.

A pure moment of sharing and conviviality. Open from lunch to dinner, The Iris welcomes everyone who wants to snack and work, sit back and enjoy a real taste discovery.

More than anything, though, this is a food concept for sharing. At the all-new Iris, we’ve banished fussy three-course formality and, in its place, we celebrate spur-of-the-moment thinking. Spontaneity is evident in our restaurant space, with its light and airy interior, comfortable pull-up-a-chair seating and the simple styling of our two 12:00-18:00 and 18:00-22:00 menus. Pick and choose several small plates, swap dishes halfway through or just head straight to something sweet; work while you eat and use whichever fork you want – after all, rules are made to be broken. And The Iris is the ultimate exception to the rule: a complete culinary one-off.
